Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Our business stands out in the fashion industry as we do things differently from made to order & made to measure while desiging and making everything from our factory in Suffolk, England.

Does your business support ethical practices & are your clothes part of an ethical production line?

We manufacture all our garments at our factory in Suffolk, England. Our workers are all paid above the living wage and work under proper contracts. The materials used are all sourced from reputable sustainable fabric sources such as our corzo buttons made by British button maker Courtney & Co

How do you stand out in the sustainable fashion market?

Rather than just offer clothing made from sustainable materials such as cotton, we take the sustainable model further by offering a made to order model which reduces waste and demand for fabric, as well as making garments that last to customer bespoke sizes so they fit well. All of this means the garments will be worn again and again over many years rather than replaced regularly or rarely worn due to a poor fit.

Do you offer eco-conscious designs and production?

All done in house, we design classic garments from sustainable fabric types that never age and are built to last . Making them to size also reduces waste as does our made to order model. We do not keep turning out designs to meet current fashion trends.

Would you describe your clothing as classic / timeless?

We manufactures clothing that has a timeless appeal and the quality is such that it commands a high price and sits comfortably alongside the top brands. A careful blend of style and beauty with a modern twist.

Are all your clothes made in England?

Yes all of our clothing is designed, cut and made at our factory in Suffolk, England. We employ local people.

What is your view of fast fashion?

We hate it and strongly urge both consumers and fellow fashion brands to adopt our business model to reduce waste and start making clothing that is an investment rather than worn once and thrown away. Over the last couple of years we have aquired two domains that shed light on the dangers of fast fashion to help spread the word. To find out more follow the link Not My Style
