Our ladies tailored white shirts are all made from a luxurious Oxford cloth which is 97% cotton and 3% elastane. Each shirt is made to order at our Suffolk factory in England where you will find the very best shirtmakers who have a passion for making the very best British made shirts.
The Classic White Tailored Shirt
No ladies wardrobe is complete without a classic tailored plain white shirt. A staple that can be worn all year round. Our long sleeve blouse includes a split yoke round the shoulders for improved movement and comfort. The shirt is finished with a soft collar and cuffs to create a shirt that is both smart but also casual that can be dressed up or down. For work pair with black jeans, trousers or a skirt. For the weekend go with your favourite blue jeans. Also offer collarless option.
White Shirt with a twist
While the plain white shirt is a wardrobe staple, sometimes it is nice to add some contrast to the shirt. In this case we have used the stunning Mabelle Liberty London print for inside the collar and cuffs. Further we have finished the collar and cuff buttonholes with light blue thread. This is a part of our signature styling which you will find on all our ladies Oxford shirts and many of our men’s shirt.

In addition to owning a classic white shirt, a ruffle shirt or blouse is also very popular to wear for work or the countryside. When it comes to ruffle shirts we believe less is more and have the ruffles running just down the front of the shirt. Like the plain white shirt and white shirt with Liberty, we use the same 97% cotton Oxford cloth with 3% elastane. I cannot state the difference the 3% elastane makes to both the shape and fit of the shirts. You will find the cloth will stretch in just the right places making the shirt really comfortable to wear throughout the day.

The collar can be worn up or folded down creating two distinctive styles. This popular ladies tailored shirt is also available in black and light blue.

Made popular during the 80’s and worn by former British prime minister Margaret Thatcher, the white pussy bow blouse is the perfect power white shirt. The female equivalent of a men’s shirt and tie. Create a unique style everyday by tying a different bow. Also available in black.

Shirt Collection Made in England
We are one of the last British shirt-makers that still manufacture all our ladies and men’s shirt in England along with all our other clothing that includes coats and jackets. Each shirt is made to order (we carry very little stock) and is made to the highest standards. You will find only single needle small stitching throughout where many seams are sewn two to three times to ensure they will never fail. We use the best threads, buttons and interfacings during production. Our wonderful Oxford cloth is sourced from the world renowned shirting mill – Soktas.
Caring for your white shirt
We always recommend a 30 degree wash for your shirt. Never tumble dry your white shirt and for best results hand straight from the washing machine.
