Moleskin
A lot of people ask what is Moleskin? It is in fact a heavyweight densely
woven fabric sheared to create a unique feel. Of course a great pair of moleskin trousers starts with the cloth. We source our moleskin fabrics (290 gsm) from coveted British mill Brisbane Moss.
The M25 fabrics are 100% cotton with natural stretch, while the Barelona fabric includes a small amount of elastane. Both cloths offer extra comfort and manoeuvrability.
While we currently only offer five colours including mens green olive trousers and
mens brown trousers
for a small surcharge we can order in any of the 11 colours shown below plus the option of
a heavier weight cotton moleskin which comes in at 350gsm.
In addition to the fabric we use luxury shirting cloth for the inside pockets along with real buffalo horn buttons and a YKK zip.
Manufacturing
All our trousers are hand cut and made to order in England by experienced tailors and seamstresses who have a drive and passion to make the highest quality British made clothing. In addition to our moleskin trousers we also manufacture corduroy trousers, chinos, men's shirts and ladies ruffled blouses along with polo shirts and boxer shorts.
The Perfect Fit
While the materials and quality of manufacturing will ensure longevity and performance of the trousers wash after wash, the most important part is of course the fit.
We offer a service second to none through our create your own trousers.
Discerning customers can choose between 14 waist sizes, three builds including slim fit, medium leg and wide leg trousers along with inside leg options ranging from 28” to 36”. In total there are 378 different combinations available per colour.
This level of customisation offers customers moleskin trousers that could normally only be found through an appointment on Savile Row or with an experienced
tailor which would set you back significant sums of money.
Buying
The website is easy to use and records your measurements during the online order process. They are then passed on to the factory where cutting and sewing takes place to meet the individual order. Delivery is also free in the UK.

When worn generally around town we recommend a pair of loafers or brogues in tan or navy colour, but for outdoor pursuits they match a range of typical country footwear.
Care instructions for your moleskin trousers
We recommend a 30 degree wash and iron on the inside of the fabric. Do not tumble dry and hang immediately after washing.

Measure Your Waist
When buying our luxury moleskin trousers or chinos, jeans & corduroy trousers always measure your own waist as sizes do vary from brand to brand. We cut our trousers or pants to size while other brands in the industry are are involved in vanity sizing where the trousers can actually measure a 38" waist but have a 36" label inside. If you measure yourself you will get the perfect fit.
