Stretch Blouses
We have been designing and manufacturing the finest ladies and men’s tailored long sleeve shirts for over a decade now. When we launched our first womens capsule collection back in 2011, all the shirts were made using 100% cotton cloth. These cloths as back then and today are all still sourced from the same coveted European shirting mills. The cloths are made using the finest long staple cotton which is the same cotton used to make the finest bed linen.
While our men’s shirt are still 100% cotton, many of our ladies long sleeve blouses and some of our mens trousers are now a cotton and elastane blend. These stunning fabrics really are the future of luxury clothing. The quality of the finish and weave is second to none. The cloths may only include 3% elastane but this makes a huge difference. Not only does it improve fit but more importantly makes the blouses exceptionally comfortable to wear. The blouse stretches in just the right places improving daily manoeuvrability. You will find all our white, light blue and black blouses are made using these cotton elastane blends.
Fit and size
Our ladies long sleeve blouses are available from a size 6 up to a size 20. The shirts are fitted offering a nice shape without being too tight. If you prefer a more generous cut we recommend going up one size.
Made in England
Both our ladies and men’s collections online are all hand cut and made at our Suffolk factory in England. We using a blend of traditional British tailoring techniques coupled with modern machinery to create only the finest shirts that look great and most importantly will last wash after wash. Features include single needle stitching throughout for a first class finish. We also use a soft sewn in interfacing to support the blouse collar and cuffs. We never use fusible or glue interfacing as this will degrade over time and eventually come unstuck. You will often find this on cheaper tops where bubbles begins to appear.
Looking After Your White Blouse
We recommend you put the blouse through a 30 degree wash and iron on a medium heat on the inside. Do not tumble dry and for best results hang the top straight out from the washing machine.
