Corduroy is known as the cloth of the kings but nevertheless there remains a huge difference in qualities of the fabric available on the market which impacts not only comfort but also wear ability and longevity. We source our corduroy, chino twill and moleskin fabrics from world renowned British Mill Brisbane Moss. Their fabrics are recognised as the best in their class and we specifically use their Yew corduroy collection for our trousers which has a great weight coming in at 295gsm. For those looking for extra thickness , for a small surcharge we have access to heavyweight mens corduroy pants that comes in at 460gsm.
It is not only the corduroy cloth that is excellent, we also use a YKK zip for the fly, real buffalo horn buttons and luxury shirting fabrics for the pocket linings

Q1: Should I measure myself or measure a pair of trousers I already own?
Our advice do both and hopefully you will come up with the correct waist size.
Q2: What Coat is best with cords?
A waxed jacket always looks great with mens cord trousers but be careful with blazers. A navy wool jacket always looks sophisticated but we would only pair them with lighter shades of corduroy. Two different shades of navy or beige are strictly forbidden.
Q3: Can you only wear brogues or formal shoes with corduroy trousers?
It all depends on the top half. If you are wearing a polo then smart trainers can definitely work. However like the top make sure the colour of your footwear is similar to the trousers.
