We offer three leg options with our men’s chinos including slim, medium (tapered leg) and classic fit which is a straight or regular fit chinos. When you combine these three options with the waist and inside leg measurements we offer over 200 different combinations per colour. In essence we provide men with the equivalent to a made to measure pair of trousers without the hefty price tag and leaving your house.

Accurate Measurements

To ensure the perfect fit it is paramount that you measure you waist and inside leg. Do not rely on the label inside a pair of chinos you currently own as many brands are involved in vanity sizing where the measured size is bigger than what the label suggests.

Made in England

All our brown chinos are all hand cut and made to order at our Suffolk factory using traditional British tailoring techniques. For the buttonholes we use a 1970’s Reece 101 buttonhole machine – still the best in its class along with the finest gutermann thread.

Luxurious cloths

We source our chino trousers cloth from coveted British mill Brisbane Moss. The cotton cloths contain a small element of elastane which offers extra stretch and give which makes the trousers more comfortable to wear. This type of stretch chinos trousers fabric is also available nine other colours including navy, stone, red and tobacco brown (light brown chinos option).

Are slim fit chinos in fashion?

While many men are wearing a type of cotton blend slim leg, the choice of whether slim fit chinos is the best option for you depends on your physique. Our most popular build is our medium leg which is tapered offering nice shape without being too tight on the calves.

What to wear with brown chinos?

There are a surprising number of brown chinos outfit options available. We personally recommend a pink or purple tailored shirt as it makes an excellent contrast against the chocolate brown. A navy field jacket looks really smart and we recommend finishing the outfit off with a pair of tan or dark brown loafer shoes. Do not wear black as it clashes.

The cloth sourced from Brisbane Moss is second to none and as mentioned previously includes a small amount of elstane which make them more comfortable to wear. Each pair if finished with a YKK zip and real buffalo horn buttons and luxury shirting cloth for the interior front and rear pockets.

Last but not least the quality of manufacturing ensure the trousers will last wash after wash. In fact the cloth will become softer and more comfortable against the skin after every wash. We use traditional methods of production which means each pair takes longer to make than modern processes but the final result is a robust pair of chinos which will last a lifetime.

What are the best colour chino?

The best chino colour options are navy, stone and beige. These three colours are incredibly versatile and can be easily dressed up or down. Brown chinos black shoes is not recommended.

How to style brown chinos

Styling brown chinos is easily than many think. The key is to get the right colour combinations to complement the brown. A white or pink shirt are popular options along with navy jumpers or jackets. We strongly recommend you avoid black.

Do you sell skinny brown chinos?

We do not offer skinny brown chinos as the cloth we use (which does include a small amount of elastane) is not suitable for such a tight fit.
