Poplin is the lightest shirting weave. A very fine, even and smooth weave, it’s silky to the touch and very cool to wear. The perfect choice for
men’s boxer shorts. However just because it is light, it is still a very strong and durable cloth.
Oxford is a basket type of weave and is a more substantial than poplin. This gives the fabric a pleasing texture which has more character than the uniform smoothness of poplin. Like poplin it is still a very soft fabric and breathes really well. The fabric is widely used in many of our signature and button down collar shirts.
